Just In: FT: Grimsby 1 Dover 0

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 19/12/2015 14:27

Bogle came in for the injured Pittman.

McKeown made a great save in first half injury time to deny Dover in a half of few chances. The Town 'keeper then produced an equally good dave to deny the Whites at the start of the second half.

Townsend was brought down in the box at the end of the game and Grimsby won a penalty just when it looked it was going to be a 0-0 draw. Amond stepped up to give Town the lead in the 90th minute.

Town in the end ground out a 1-0 win they probably didn't deserve and a priceless three points.
